This spider poison is the remedy for the constitution, favourable to malarial poisoning where every damp day or place favors chilliness. Patient feels cold to the very bones, cannot get warm enough. There is abnormal susceptibility to damp and cold. Coldness not relieved by anything. Spleen swollen. Hydrogenoid Constitution i.e Inability to live near fresh water, rivers, lakes etc. or in damp chilly places. It affects the nerves; causing neuralgic pains, which are violent and sudden and appear at the same hour every day, every other day, week, month or at regular periods. Sensation AS OF ENORMOUS ENLARGEMENT; or numbness of parts worse on waking or he wakes with such a feeling. It is a haemorrhagic remedy. It affects bones, causing periostitis. Punctured wounds. Many symptoms appear on right side. Pains are like electric shocks. Great desire to lie down. Creeping as of ants all over the body.

Bones, affections of. Catalepsy. Chills. Dysmenorrhoea. Dyspepsia. Haemorrhages. Haemorrhagic diathesis. Headache. Hydrogenoid constitution. Intermittents. Malarial cachexia. Menstruation, irregularities of. Neuralgia. Punctured wounds. Scorbutic affections. Scurvy rickets. Spleen, affections of. Toothache.

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• All complaints worse from bathing, from damp weather, damp localities, or habitations, worse drawing in cold air.
• Chill and neuralgic attacks at the same hour every day, every other day, week, month, or regular period.
• Attacks are violent and sudden.
•  Headache better smoking and going out in open air.
• Vertigo, with flickering before the eyes.
• Sensation of swelling in many parts, head, face, hands, of numbness, of coldness as if bones were made of ice.
• Great desire to lie down, many symptoms better lying down.
• Toothache worse night after lying down 
• Menses too early; too copious. Lumbo-abdominal neuralgia with vomiting and yawning; during menstrual cycle.
• Bone-pains in extremities.Pain in os calcis, better continued motion.  Bones cold as if made of ice. Sensation of swelling, and Numbness of parts supplied by ulnar nerve.
• Enlarged spleen. Colic returns same hours. Heaviness in lower abdomen, as of a stone. 

MODALITIES:

• Worse: damp weather; late in afternoon, and at midnight. 
• Better:  smoking tobacco.
