This long and deep acting remedy, prominently affects the glands esp. MAMMARY; tonsils; in addition it has a powerful action upon the muscles; of NECK and back; fibrous tissue; tendons and joints, osseous tissues, periosteum, THROAT; digestive tract and right side. SORENESS; HARD ACHING; restlessness and prostration are the guiding symptoms. Aching, all over the body; sudden; in eyeballs, kidneys, neck; shoulders; back; forearms; below knees. Bluish-red parts; throat; glands etc. Spreading pains. Pains come and go suddenly, change places; rheumatism; after tonsilitis. Discharges are shreddy; stringy; stools; menses etc. Hard and painful nodes. Syphilitic bone pains. Tetanus; general muscular rigidity; alternate spasms and relaxation of muscles. Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Patients of a rheumatic diathesis; rheumatism of fibrous and periosteal tissue; mercurial or syphillitic.
• Emaciation, chlorosis; loss of fat.
• Great exhaustion and profound prostration.
• Pain flying like electric shocks; shooting, lancinating: rapidly shifting; worse from motion and at night.
• Entire indifference to life; sure she will die. Vertigo: when rising from bed feels faint
• Intense headache and backache; lame, sore bruised feeling all over; constant desire to move but motion worse pains
• Irresistible desire to bit the teeth or gums together; during dentition.
• Sore throat; of a dark color; uvula large, dropsical, almost translucent
• Diphtheria: pains shoot from throat into ears on swallowing; great pain at root of tongue when swallowing; burning, as from a coal of fire or a red-hot iron: dryness; difficult to swallow with trembling of the hands; sensation of a lump in the throat with continuous desire to swallow; tonsils, uvula and back part of throat covered with ash-colored membrane; cannot drink hot fluids
• Carotid and submaxillary glands indurated after diphtheria, scarlet fever.
• Mammae full of hard, painful nodosities. Breast; shows an early tendency to cake; is full, stony, hard and painful, especially when suppuration is inevitable; when child nurses pain goes from nipple to all over body
• Mammary abscess; fistulae, gaping, angry ulcers; pus sanious, ichorous, fetid; unhealthy.
• Tumefied breast neither heals nor suppurates, is of a purple hue and "hard as old cheese"
• Nipples, sensitive, sore, fissured; worse intensely by nursing, pain radiates over whole body. Hastens suppuration 
• Loss of personal delicacy, disregard of surrounding objects.

• Tongue red tip, feels rough and scalded; bleeding from mouth; blisters on side. Mapped, indented, fissured, with yellow patch down center. 

• Constipation of the aged and those with weak heart. Bleeding from rectum.

• Feeling as if heart leaped into throat 

• Difficult breathing; dry hacking, tickling cough; worse at night 

MODALITIES:

• Worse: Exposure to damp cold weather or changes of weather. Raising up. Motion. Swallowing hot drinks; heat. Cold night. At menses. Rain. Stepping down from high step.
• Better: Lying on abdomen; or left side. Rest. Dry weather.
