Manganum Metallicum 30 CH (11 ml)

It causes anaemia with destruction of red blood corpuscles. Moreover it has special affinity for INNER EAR; larynx, trachea; periosteum of shinbone. Joints. Ankles and lower limbs. Motor paralysis, ascending. Paralysis agitans, paraplegia, come under its influence. Bones are very sensitive, Painful, deep soreness of the whole body; every part of the body feels sore when touched; ears, joints, skin. Pain extends to ear from other parts. Everything affects the ear. Diagonal pains. Yellow-green lumpy or bloody discharges. Chronic arthritis; with infiltrated glistening joints. Weak joints. Festination; walks backwards. Growing pains and weak ankles. Progressive muscular atrophy. Cellulitis; sub-acute stage. Suppuration of skin around joints. Asthmatic persons who cannot lie on a feather pillow. Fatty degeneration. Wants to lie down in bed which better all the troubles. Typhoid fever; after, cases badly treated, with prolonged convalescence. Valuable for boys and girls whose voices are changing. Necrosis and caries of bones. Malignant ulcers with blue border, following slight injury.

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Cough better by lying down, worse in damp weather. It is worse from cold, cold air, and cold, damp weather.
• The bones are very sensitive, red spots on the skin, which are elevated, owing to the affections of the bones.
• Cough during the cold damp weather due to scratching the ear canal.
• Larynx feels sore and inflamed leading to ulceration with burning, stinging pain that shoots to the ears.
• Abdomen is full of gas with gripping pains aggravated from eating cold foods and complaints are worse during cold damp weather.
• Pus formation of skin around joints, red elevated spots
• Inflammation of bones and joints, with nightly digging pains; in shin bones. Inflamed ankles. Children are unable to walk on account of affections of ankles.
• Larynx dry, rough and constricted. It is indicated in infection and inflammation of larynx with chronic hoarseness of voice. 
• Cramps in calf muscle. It produces twitching of muscles in legs and stiffness of muscles.
• The patient cannot walk backwards without falling and tends to fall forward. 
• Absence of menses, menses too early and scanty, in anemic persons.
• Asthmatic persons who cannot lie on a feather pillow.
• Chronic eczema, with amenorrhoea, worse menses or menopause. Dry hard ulcers. Pruritus of diabetes. Chronic eruptions, inveterate like psoriasis.
• Toothache worse anything cold or sucking, going up in the ears. Taste oily
• Burning all over skin, in evening, and when rising from bed. The skin does not heal easily; every injury tends to ulceration.
• Dragging pains in region of stomach, as if epigastrium were dilating, accompanied by nausea.Pain after eating food in weakly females.
• Sensation of burning sourness, rising from stomach, like pyrosis.

MODALITIES:

• Worse: cold wet weather, change of weather.
• Better:  lying down
