Willmar Schwabe India Alpha-Acid (Hyperacidity) (20 gm)

Alpha-Acid by Schwabe India is a medicine in tablet form that has an excellent affinity for digestive troubles. It has significant action on acidity and complaints arising thereafter. Nausea, heartburn, acid reflux, stomach cramps and general indigestion all show significant improvement with this remedy. Constant eructations and pain in the abdominal region are also relieved constantly with this remedy. Headaches may also occur due to gas and acidity. Alpha-Acid improves these headaches and enhances digestive function. The medicine is suitable for both young and adults and there are no contra-indications. The dosage is generally taken as two tablets twice or thrice a day. With use of this medicine an acidity-free life is possible.

• Bismuthum subnitricum : Abdomen bloated in ridges; rumbling of wind along colon, passes rarely, but then relieves. Painful sensibility of the abdomen to the touch. Borborygmi and rumbling in the abdomen. Colic with pinching, pressure, and an inclination to go to stool.
• Capsicum annuum : Burning pain in the stomach, and in the epigastrium, esp. just after a meal. Shootings in the epigastrium, on breathing rapidly and deeply, on speaking, and on the part being touched.
• Iris versocolor : Fetid flatulence.Sharp griping pains in the bowels.Pain in abdomen > by discharge of flatus.Eructations of tasteless gas; frequently empty
• Robinia pseudacacia : Constant dulness in epigastric region, with cutting pains in stomach and bowels and a good deal of rumbling.Burning distress in stomach and region of gall-bladder. Bowels greatly distended with flatulence, seemed to fill up whole abdomen; tympanites; > passing flatus.
• Arsenicum album : Violent cutting pains, cramp-like pains, digging, pulling, tearing, and gnawing in the abdomen. Attacks of colic occur chiefly after having drunk or eaten, or in the night, and are often accompanied by vomiting or diarrhoea, with cold, internal heat, or cold sweat.

• 1-2 tablets to be given thrice daily or as prescribed by the physician 
• In acute conditions 1-2 tablets every hour for a day or as prescribed by the physician 
• Children can take 1 tablet every 2 hours and subsequently thrice a day or as prescribed by the physician
