Adel Aesculus Hippocastanum 30 CH (10 ml)

It has a marked action on the veins of the lower bowels and pelvic organs causing engorged haemorrhoids. Veins of portal system are also engorged producing soreness and fulness of the liver and abdomen. Many of the symptoms which Aesculus produces are due to deranged liver or reflex from piles. The back aches and gives out and unfits the patient for business. Flying pains all over.Fulless in various parts, dry, swollen mucous membranes. Throat with hæmorrhoidal conditions. It causes general venous stasis, making parts purple and puffy, varicose veins become purple. Everything is slowed down, digestion, heart, bowels. In addition to the feeling of fulness in internal parts, it produces sensation of HEAT, DRYNESS, STIFFNESS and ROUGHNESS in throat, nose, anus, etc. There is a characteristic backache which unfits the patient for business. Pains are sticking or flying all over, hot like lightning.

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Dry constricted fauces, with burning, pricking and stinging pains
• Dryness of rectum with sensation of small sticks. Anus feels raw and sore with pain and prolapse after stool.Haemorrhoids, with sharp shooting pains up the back, blind piles with bleeding especially during menopause.
• Mucous membrane of the rectum seems swollen and obstructs the passage with large, dry and hard stools.

• Frequent inclination to swallow, with burning, pricking stinging & dry constricted fauces
• Thin, watery burning coryza with with rawness & sensitiveness to cold air
• Back gives out during pregnancy, prolapsus & leucorrhoea
• Follicular pharyngitis connected with hepatic congestion. Veins in pharynx distended and tortuous. Throat sensitive to inspired air; feels excoriated and constricted, burns like fire on swallowing, in afternoon
• Leucorrhœa, with lameness of back across the sacro-iliac articulation; dark yellow, sticky corroding; worse after menses.
• Constipation: hard, dry stool, difficult to pass, severe lumbo-sacral Pain.
• Stool followed by fullness, burning and intense pain in anus for hours.
• Paralytic feeling in arms, legs and spine.
• Tongue thickly coated. Cannot control the tongue so as to form words rightly. Taste sweet, bitter, metallic.
• Pressure as from a stone, with gnawing, aching pain, about three hours after meals.
• Desire to vomit with constant distress and burning.
• Stools first part hard and black, then white and soft.

MODALITIES:

• Worse: in morning on awaking, and from any motion, walking, from moving bowels; after eating, afternoon, standing.
• Better: cool open air.
