Common Name:   Prussic Acid 

Convulsions and paralysis express the action of this remedy. Spasmodic constriction in larynx, feeling of suffocation, pain and tightness in chest, palpitation; pulse weak, irregular. Singing sensation at the epigastrium. Hysterical and epileptic convulsions. Cyanosis. Collapse, due to some pulmonary condition not a cardiac collapse. Catalepsy. Cholera. Stage of collapse. Coldness. Tetanus narcolepsy. Effects are sudden; spasms, collapse, apoplexy. Lacks reaction. Lightning like jerks from head to feet. Evacuations cease suddenly, sinks down unconscious. Prolonged faints. Bluishness. Epileptic attacks preceded by nausea and vomiting or waterbrash. Catalepsy. Intense coldness.

Angina pectoris. Asthma. Cholera Asiatica. Colic (horses). Convulsions. Dyspepsia. Epilepsy. Hemiplegia. Hiccough. Labour, convulsions in. Stings. Stomach, catarrh of. Sunstroke. Tetanus. Uraemic convulsions. Whooping-cough.

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

  • Spasmodic constriction in larynx, feeling of suffocation, pain and tightness in chest, palpitation; pulse weak, irregular 
  • when there is stinging sensation at the epigastrium, Hysterical and convulsions, Cyanosis, Collapse, due to some pulmonary condition not a cardiac collapse.
  • Convulsions and tremors
  • Very fearful, fears manifested by imagination. Fearful of everything-horses, wagons, houses falling, etc.
  • Spasms in larynx with a feeling of suffocation. Noisy breathing with dry, spasmodic cough.
  • Gastralgia; worse when stomach is empty. 
  •  Fear of imaginary troubles; of death, house falling, horses, cars etc.; of crossing the street, even when the vehicle is at a considerable distance.
  • Loud involuntary screams; before convulsions.
  • Tongue coated, sometimes white, afterwards dark and dingy, contraction at the root, sensation of coldness on the tongue, burning at the tip of the tongue, stiffness of the tongue, which often protrudes from the mouth, loss of speech.
  • Pains in stomach, sensation of coldness in stomach, sometimes with lancinations, pressure and squeezing in pit of stomach, with great oppression.
  • Frequent coughing, caused by smarting (pricking) in the larynx and trachea.
  • Small red pustules on hip, burning itching vesicles on upper extremities, and neck.
  • Dryness of the skin. General pallor with a bluish tint, Varicose ulcers on legs.
  • Cramps in masseters, jaws clenched in rigid spasm.
  • Dry Taste; pussy, metallic, astringent.
  • Pulse; failing, weak, irregular, unequal, with occasional strong beats.
