Description

It is a powerful purgative, hence it affects intestines and stomach. Child is good all day, but screams and tosses about all night; or child may be troublesome and restless day and night; with any complaint. Colic. Stools; watery, muddy or sour; bloody. Infantile diarrhoea, with general coldness, blueness of face. Causes and cures colic and diarrhoea.

Indications

Anus, soreness of. Coryza. Diarrhœa. Gout. Fainting. Restlessness.

Dosage

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

Action of Medicine

• Tongue, smooth, glazed, dry, smarting. Pain in right hypochondrium. 
• Watery diarrhoea; thin, muddy stools. Abdomen distended. Face cold and blue. Anus sore.
• Pain in large joint of great toe.
• Severe griping, cutting pain in bowels, worse at night.
• Pain in middle of abdomen and in region of l. superior flexure of colon.
• Colic: violent pain in small intestines, as if abdomen would be cut to pieces.
• Diarrhœa in infants: child is quiet all day, but screams and tosses about all night 
• Flatulent and frothy eructations with abatement of pain.
• Excessive uneasiness and tossing about of limbs.
• Great disposition to perspiration of head and superior parts of body.
• Severe pain about superior margin of left scapula.
• Smarting on inside edge and at root of l. great toenail, with beat, tearing and pulsation.
